Powering a Brighter Future: Sunrise Energy Brand Film
A brand film for a solar installer that sells the life the panels pay for, not the panels.

Sunrise Energy fit solar to family homes. The brief was a brand film that could carry the whole marketing year across website hero, paid social and sales meetings, without ever sounding like a technical spec sheet. So we built it around the households, and let the install work be the proof underneath.
The challenge
Renewables marketing all looks the same: drone over a roof, a graph, a voiceover about savings. It's forgettable, and it doesn't answer the thing people actually weigh up, which is whether the disruption and the outlay are worth it. We needed a film that made the payoff feel domestic and real.
Our approach
- Wrote the film around ordinary evenings and weekends (the bedtime reading, the trip away, the dog on the sofa) so the benefit reads as life, not kilowatt-hours
- Shot the install work in close, tactile detail: gloved hands, the torque driver, panel meeting rail, so the craft carries the credibility
- Used drone only where it earns its place: establishing the street and the finished array from above rather than as filler
- Graded warm and natural, with the cool blue of screen-lit night as the only cold note, so the sunlight always feels like the reward
Deliverables
- Hero brand film for website and YouTube
- Vertical cutdowns for Meta and TikTok
- Sound-off captioned variants for paid social
- Stills library from the shoot days

Results
One shoot gave Sunrise Energy a homepage film, a paid-social set and a stills library. A brand story their sales team now opens with instead of a price list.
