Graham & Pott asked us to create a luxury fragrance film for Ambre Mielle, a scent built around amber, honey and deep woods. With no model or spoken explanation to lean on, every frame had to make the fragrance feel tangible and give the bottle the presence of the product itself.
The challenge
You cannot photograph a scent. The job was to suggest its weight, warmth and texture without falling into the familiar luxury-fragrance clichés. The glass, mirrored gold label and dark liquid also demanded precise control: one careless reflection would reveal the set and break the illusion.
Our approach
- Built the visual language from the fragrance notes (liquid honey, warm timber, dust and amber light) rather than decorating around the bottle
- Used tight macro photography and slow, deliberate camera movement to make each material feel physical
- Sculpted the bottle with moving highlights and controlled reflections so the embossed label remained crisp against the dark glass
- Cut for atmosphere rather than speed, letting sound design, texture and restrained reveals give the product its sense of luxury
Deliverables
- Hero luxury fragrance film
- Short-form social cutdowns
- Vertical campaign versions
- Product stills and macro detail frames

Results
The final campaign gives Ambre Mielle a distinctive visual world of its own: one master film, a flexible social set and a bank of premium product imagery built from the same shoot.
